COVID- 19 GUIDELINES DURING AND POST LOCKDOWN

GUIDELINES ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS:
As per Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I (A) dated 1st May, 2020
AT WORK PLACES:

Wearing of face covers is compulsory in all workplaces and adequate stock of such face covers shall be made available

All persona in charge of work places shall ensure social distancing as per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
​

Social distancing at work places/ clinic shall be ensured by giving appointments at 45 minute gaps.
​

All patients are being asked history of fever, travel or past infection with covid-19 before been given an appointment
​
-
Persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years shall be seen with extra precaution. They will be considered Special case appointments and will be given appointments with a gap of 1hr 30 min, instead of the usual 45 min.

Provision hand wash and sanitizer will be made at all entry and exit points and common areas. In addition, sufficient quantities of hand wash and clinical sanitizer shall be made available in waiting room.

Frequent sanitization of the entire workplace, common facilities and all points which come into human contact e.g. door handles etc. shall be ensured, including patient appointments

Use of the Arogya Setu app shall be made mandatory for all employees, both private and public. It shall be the responsibility of the Head of the respective Organization to ensure 100% coverage of this app among the employees.

Hospitals/clinics in nearby areas which are authorized to treat COVID-19 patients, have been identified and a list has been made with us
​

Intensive communication and training on good hygiene practices is been done to staff and patients
SKIN MATRA STANDARD OPERATING PROTOCOL FOR CLINIC BASED CONSULTATIONS AND PROCEDURES

Operations:
-
Skin Matra operating hours will be from 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM (last appointment at 8:30 PM) to comply with Section 144 lockdown restrictions

Operating days will be Monday to Saturday

Admin in charge will have Aarogya Setu app downloaded and installed on
Phone device
Sanitization, Cleaning and Hygiene in consulation rooms and procedure rooms:

Face masks by all staff, nurse and doctor will be worn at all times
​

Cleaning will be done once in the morning and once in the evening every day
​

Sweeping, dusting, mopping of floors and wiping of furniture (tables, chairs, benches, reception desk) and spraying with sodium hypochlorite solution will be done every day at regular intervals, before and after the patient leaves clinic
​
-
BMC run fumigation will be done once a week
​
-
Door knobs/handles/latches will be cleaned with the sodium hypochlorite solution
​

Hand wash will be always available at the wash basin. Dispenser will be checked at regular intervals for refills.
​

Patients will not be allowed to enter without a face mask
​
-
Patients above 18 years, will be requested to visit without accompanying person to reduce the chances of contamination of clinic or transmission of virus
​

Only minors are allowed with single parent(adult) as accompanying person to visit clinic
​

For Elective Dermatosurgeries and Plastic surgeries: Patient selection will be thoroughly done based on history of fever and contact with covid patient. Based on the history, the patient will have to submit a Sars-cov 2 test report or a serum IgG test report before the procedure. All precautions will be taken: PPE kits, Masks, and proper fumigation of the procedural area.
Seating Arrangement:

Chairs will be placed 3 feet away from each

Relative accompanying the patient will be requested to wait outside the clinic
​
Quarantine Area:
-
One room will be marked as a temporary quarantine area IN THE EVENT any member (staff or otherwise) shows any sign or symptoms pertaining to COVID-19
-
In the event that the room will be used as a quarantine area, no one from outside will be allowed to enter till Govt or BMC medical staff reaches the premises

Stocks to be maintained:

A minimum of 3 bottles of sanitizer will be in use in the waiting space at all times

10 face masks, 3 PPE kits and 3 face shields should be in stock at all times
-
Under emergencies, Patient can request for face mask but will be charged as per the MRP
​
